So is it OK to proselytize to adults but not children. Since to proselytize is to coerce then Access Ministries are in the game of coercion to adults, whats the cut off age then? 16 years old?
Just finished watching the mashup. Brilliant stuff but still shocking to hear all the bias and twisted messages repeated.
State Government is failing in its duty of care to provide either enough information for parents to decide if SRI is for them and the GC566 form also fails to provide a clear indication that opting out is in fact an option. The religion sections of this form offer “Other” rather than “Opt Out”. In fact , its hardly an opt out form in any form. Where is the official ” I want to Opt Out” form then?
Wow, I hadn’t heard the 2008 speech before – only seen it referenced. I am stunned that someone could so blatantly tell two such different stories and expect to get away with it.
I’m actually sorry for Evonne’s followers who are being so obviously used, via their faith.
Our students deserve so much better than this misguided attempt to turn them into little believers. The educational approach Evonne talks about in the latest video may be the right way to go, but I don’t believe that’s really what her aims are or that she is capable of delivering it. I think she’s either being deliberately misleading (and thinks it’s justified by her “mission”), or she’s just lost the plot.
Please note I didn’t choose my angry face image, and I don’t like it…
